Demanem:

Immediate start.

The intern candidate will be a talented Electronics Engineer graduate who lives in the region of Barcelona and if required hold a work permit for Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the activities of the senior electronics engineer including preparing documentation, drawing electronics diagrams, administrative tasks, ordering parts and supplier follow up as well as assisting in the assembly of electronics in robots.

The person must have a can-do attitude, a good eye for detail, work independently and be unforgiving with mediocre results.

Fluency in Spanish or Catalan is a must with a good level of English.
Required skills and responsibilities:
• Studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in one of the following areas: Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Advanced Electronics in Intelligent Systems, Microelectronics Manufacturing Engineering
• Good oral English and good communication in general
• Personal experience working with electronics: assembly etc
• Good research skills
• Good document preparation skills
• Interest in machine learning
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure receipt and delivery of orders on time
• Logical, commonsensical approach to issues
• Updating of test plans with the results of electronic and sensor tests
• Highly organised and disciplined, creative, innovative and with a strong willingness to learn

Desirable skills:
• Prepared to get their hands dirty on the job
• Experience working with electronics
• Hands on experience working with electronic tools: soldering, wiring, electronic components, etc
• Experience with coding firmware (Ubuntu: C++, Python, ROS)
• Basic working understanding of mechanics
• Assisting in the design and creation of PCB’s
• Assisting in the assembly of the electronic components
• Assisting in fieldwork, prototyping and testing
• Checking installations and problem-solving activities
